Our Story

Supernova Laser Tag is a family owned and operated business based in Utah.

Established in 2025, owners Dane and Katy Camp are beyond thrilled to FINALLY see their long over-due dream of running a laser tag business become a reality!

Growing up, Dane was a total laser tag nerd (and yes, he’s very proud of that) and he spent a ridiculous amount of time at the local fun center, honing those zapping skills. Eventually, enough like-minded guys got together, and they started forming teams and went on to compete in several international Laserforce tournaments around the US, and at one point Dane ended up ranked 5th in the world! (Take THAT, haters!)

He eventually went onto become a high school science teacher (like I said - total nerd) and really enjoyed working with kids, but the idea of running his own laser tag site stuck around like a brain worm.

Katy (fellow teacher and total nerd) entered the scene in 2009 at the height of Dane’s competitive career and cheered him on while he pwned all the n00bs! They got married in 2010 and got to work building their own future laser tag team (baby #7 is making his debut shortly), and she became Dane’s greatest cheerleader in his pursuit of owning his own business.

It took a lot of work, a lot of patience, and a lot of guts, but it’s finally happening!
